Sustainability starts with our smallest! ProtectiveCap now with 40% recycled content

ProtectiveCap made from recycled material

Sustainability is a top priority for us. So much so, in fact, that we are now even adding a portion of recyclate to our small protective caps. ProtectiveCap offers the perfect protection for delicate tool cutting edges.

From September 2022, we will begin switching our ProtectiveCaps in sizes 1–12 over to a version containing 40% recycled content, i.e., 40% of the material used will consist recycled plastic in the future. This recycled plastic is gray, which is why our small ProtectiveCaps will be uniformly gray in the future. The ProtectiveCap in sizes 13-17 will remain unchanged and will consist of the material EVA.

Why use recyclate?
Using recycled plastic to manufacture our packaging helps the environment. It saves energy, lowers CO2 emissions, and supports the material cycle. By using recyclate, valuable resources are saved and less new plastic is produced. Even with recycled content, our ProtectiveCaps reliably protect both tools and users. The special geometry and flexibility are retained.
The ProtectiveCaps are available in 19 different sizes for tools from 3 to 30 millimeters in diameter. Many sizes are suitable for several tool diameters, which simplifies the ordering process and minimizes storage at the same time. Easy handling, durability and multiple usability clearly speak for the ProtectiveCap.
